Mike Reeves – Chair
Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I thought it would be a great opportunity to meet people and learn more about other businesses in our community. We plan on sticking around for a while, so the potential of building relationships with peers and having a lot of fun intrigued me too!

Rick Martin –
Since 2014: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? To be on the “Front Lines” of promoting the benefits of the Chamber, welcoming new and existing members and helping to network others to get the most out of their Chamber membership.
Since 2017: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee?
I became an Ambassador for the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce because I wanted to further connect with the people who are a part of the Chamber, but also connect further with our community. There are likely many business, resources, and people in the community with whom I could be working and I don’t want to miss any opportunities to get to know Burnsville in a different way. So much of what I do with South of the River Education Center is based on collaboration and partnerships and I felt through being an ambassador, I could keep building bridges.
Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee?
I thoroughly enjoy being an Ambassador for the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce. Professionally and personally as ambassador, I have had the privilege and pleasure of meeting local like-minded businessmen and women. Burnsville is an excellent business community to be a part of and I have enjoyed the networking and spreading the great news about the Chamber in addition to sharing about my business as well.
Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I became an ambassador to grow my network and develop new business contacts while working with other talented professionals in the Burnsville area.
Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I joined the Ambassador Committee to get
out and meet and connect with the people and business owners of the Burnsville community to which I belong.
Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I and my spouse, Pam and four grown children have lived in Apple Valley for the past 21 years having moved from Fergus Falls. I started by banking career in 1977 in Bismarck, ND having graduated from the University of North Dakota. I currently work at Sterling State Bank as a Commercial Lender for the past 2 years plus. Prior to that I worked for Unity Bank in Edina as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Loan Manager. Prior to Unity Bank I was the President of First Resource Bank in Savage.
Since 2014: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? Serving as an Ambassador has afforded me the opportunity to promote and support Chamber events, as well as connecting new members to resources to expand their networking opportunities. Actively participating as an Ambassador has also increased my visibility in the Burnsville community. Networking opportunities are infinitely easier when you share a common interest in servicing the Community.
Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I joined the Ambassador program at the suggestion of a few chamber members. Being an Ambassador is a great way to help the chamber grow, meet new members and connect members with others who can help them grow their business.

Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? I joined Ambassadors because I love to get out and meet people and I am very passionate about helping local businesses grow! I saw the Ambassador program as a great way to get involved in my local community.
Since 2016: Why did you join the Ambassador Committee? There are many great reasons to be a part of the Chamber. Not every member joins the Chamber with the same aspirations. I joined the Ambassadors to help keep the Chamber connected to its members so that we can find ways for the members to meet those aspirations.
