The Ambassadors represent the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce by promoting community and business participation while generating an atmosphere of good will and advocating for members through positive public exposure. Ambassadors serve as greeters at Chamber events and connect with Chamber members through member visits, ribbon cuttings and other business celebrations. Find Out More
Public Policy Committee
The Public Policy Committee serves as the voice for the Burnsville business community, monitors business issues, educates the business community and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding policy initiatives. The committee also hosts candidate forums and provides a forum for communication between government and the business community.
The Women Empowered Committee helps plan and promote Women Empowered events and activities. The mission of the program is: Women in business building a network while learning, growing and succeeding together. The events occur every other month and alternate between a late afternoon network-social event and a midday luncheon with a speaker.
BITE of Burnsville
The Bite of Burnsville is an annual celebration that showcases many of the best restaurants in Burnsville and includes an auction, social and entertainment. The Bite Committee helps in coordinating the event marketing, restaurants, and auction.
The Chamber’s annual Golf Classic is a great opportunity to help coordinate a great event that provides fun and networking for our members. The Committee helps to plan the event and ensure a good time is had by all.
Community Home Show
The Chamber has partnered with the City of Burnsville for many years to offer an opportunity for Burnsville residents to meet and learn about home improvement specialists and get inspiration to invest in their own home improvement project. The committee helps coordinate the vendors, seminars and marketing to make this event a success.
