Chamber Committees

Ambassador Committee

The Chamber Ambassador Committee focuses on member engagement by greeting and networking and Chamber events, attending ribbon cuttings and grand openings and attending member visits.

Meets the third Wednesday of every month from 8 – 9:30 am

Public Policy Committee

The Chamber Public Policy Committee stays on top of local, regional, and state business issues, local transportation and economic development issues and advocates on behalf of business. Meets the 2nd Friday of the month, 8:00 – 9:30 am at the Chamber Office.

Women Empowered Committee

The Chamber Women Empowered Committee plans and promotes Women Empowered networking events and luncheons. Meets as needed to plan events that occur every other month.

Connections Committee

This committee focuses on membership recruitment.  They help with strategy, prospecting, marketing, recruitment and they help plan and coordinate the annual Chamber membership drive and meets monthly.

Signature Event Committees

Burnsville Family Fest Committee – NEW in 2018!

The Burnsville Community Festival is a partnered event with the Burnsville Chamber, City of Burnsville and ISD 191.  Volunteers help plan the event, recruit vendors and market to the community to ensure a successful event.

Bite of Burnsville Planning Committee

The Bite of Burnsville highlights the best food from local restaurants while bringing the community together for a night of fun and fundraising for the Chamber.  Volunteers help to coordinate the event through subcommittees prior to the event as well as set up and event assistance the day of the event.

Burnsville Chamber Golf Classic Committee           

Chambers and Golf go together! The Golf Classic Committee plans the event each year to ensure a fun event, strong participation and smooth sailing the day of the event.
