MnDOT is leading a major I-35W project that will involve the closing of several roadways including Buck Hill Road, the Burnsville Parkway bridge and Westbound HWY 13 on and off ramps. This is a complex project, so please be patient with construction crews, drivers, and pedestrians throughout the summer.

Here is a quick recap of happenings April – October. Approximate timeline for each closure will be updated on MnDOT project page.

Bridge Impacts

• Cliff Road under 35W will be CLOSED.
• Burnsville Parkway Bridge is CLOSED.
• Highway 13 will be reduced to 1 lane in each direction over 35W.

Ramp Impacts

• The ramp from westbound Hwy 13 to southbound I-35W will close.
• The ramp from northbound I-35W to westbound Hwy 13 will will close.
• The ramp from Burnsville Pkwy. to northbound I-35W will close.
• The ramp from Cliff Rd. to southbound I-35W will close.
