MN Chapter Selects New President

New President of the MN Chapter of the National Speakers Association

The Minnesota chapter of the National Speakers Association has just selected a new President.

It’s Annie Meehan of Burnsville and she is ready to embrace the role.

“Twenty years ago I dreamed of taking to the stage to inspire people to become more… ten years ago I started to share that dream out loud with others… five years ago I decided speaking would become my full-time profession… and today I am excited to be leading an organization of professionals who share my passion,” says Meehan, who officially began serving in her new position on July 1, 2018.

Meehan’s specialty is speaking on the topics of leading an impactful life, how mindset and resilience fuel hope and help overcome obstacles, and finding your purpose. Her stories come from experience and right out of her award-winning book, “Be the Exception: Your Seven Steps to Transformation.” Annie was the middle child in a household with seven children, all being raised by a single mom. When she was a teenager, her ability to “survive” and thrive captured the attention of Oprah Winfrey, whose producers invited her to appear on the show when she was 18.

Annie Meehan is available for interviews to share….

* Her personal story.

* The 7 steps to transformation she took and encourages others to try themselves.

* The changes she is planning to implement now that she is in a leadership position at the Minnesota Chapter of the National Speaker’s Association.

* Her recommendations to (people in your audience) (your readers) (your listeners) who are interested in launching speaking careers of their own.
